"Where's the fish?", you might ask
as you look at the photos below. While the goal is to catch fish, it is pretty much "catch and release", using barbless hooks, and getting the trout back in the water as quickly as possible. It's even more about the whole experience of getting out into nature, exploring a new stream, reading where the fish might be, and the variety of the different species of trout that are caught (typically browns, rainbows, and brookies that we catch in the Western Wisconsin and Southeastern Minnesota streams). For me, it's also about getting away from the hussle and bussle of the city and enjoying nature in some very wonderful and beautiful environments. I enjoy seeing the abundant wildlife in and around these streams.
